Background:

catalyzes Na+/I- symporter activity plays a role in iodide transport and thyroid hormone generation.Human Sodium Iodide Symporter (hNIS) is responsible for iodide concentrating ability within thyroid follicular cells. It is a membrane bound glycoprotein with 13 membrane spanning domains and 14 extramembranous domains. It may represent an autoantigen in thyroid.

Formalin-fixed and paraffin embedded rat thyroid gland labeled with Anti-NIS Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-0448R) at 1:200, followed by conjugation to the secondary antibody and DAB staining


L1 rat brain lysates L2 rat kidney lysates probed with Anti NIS Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-0448R) at 1:200 overnight at 4˚C. Followed by conjugation to secondary antibody (bs-0295G-HRP) at 1:3000 for 90 min at RT. Predicted band 65kD. Observed band size:65kD.


Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human thyroid labeled with Rabbit Anti-NIS Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated(bs-448R) 1:200, overnight at 4°C, The secondary antibody was Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG, Cy3 conjugated(bs-0295G-Cy3)used at 1:200 dilution for 40 minutes at 37°C.


Lane 1: Mouse Stomach tissue lysates; Lane 2: Rat Stomach tissue lysates probed with NIS Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-0448R) at 1:200 dilution and 4°C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at 1:20000 for 60 min at 37˚C.
