Background:

Transcription activator that binds DNA cooperatively with DP proteins through the E2 recognition site, 5'-TTTC[CG]CGC-3' found in the promoter region of a number of genes whose products are involved in cell cycle regulation or in DNA replication. The DRTF1/E2F complex functions in the control of cell-cycle progression from G1 to S phase. E2F1 binds preferentially RB1 in a cell-cycle dependent manner. It can mediate both cell proliferation and TP53/p53-dependent apoptosis.

VALIDATION IMAGES

Formalin-fixed and paraffin embedded rat brain tissue labeled with Anti-E2F1 Polyclonal Antibody (bs-0599R), Unconjugated at 1:200, followed by conjugation to the secondary antibody and DAB staining


Mouse skeleton lysates probed with E2F1 Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-0599R) at 1:300 dilution and 4˚C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at 1:10000 for 60 min at 37˚C.


Mouse spleen cells were fixed with 4% PFA for 10min at room temperature,permeabilized with 90% ice-cold methanol for 20 min at room temperature, and incubated in 5% BSA blocking buffer for 30 min at room temperature. Cells were then stained with E2F1 Polyclonal Antibody(bs-0599R)at 1:50 dilution in blocking buffer and incubated for 30 min at room temperature, washed twice with 2%BSA in PBS, followed by secondary antibody incubation for 40 min at room temperature. Acquisitions of 20,000 events were performed. Cells stained with primary antibody (green), and isotype control (orange).


Lane 1: Human Hela cell lysates; Lane 2: Human A673 cell lysates; Lane 3: Human Molt-4 cell lysates; Lane 4: Human U251 cell lysates probed with E2F1 Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-0599R) at 1:1000 dilution and 4°C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at room temperature for 60 min.
