Background:

Plays an important role in the excretion/detoxification of endogenous and exogenous organic anions, especially from the brain and kidney. Involved in the transport basolateral of steviol, fexofenadine. Transports benzylpenicillin (PCG), estrone-3-sulfate (E1S), cimetidine (CMD), 2,4-dichloro-phenoxyacetate (2,4-D), p-amino-hippurate (PAH), acyclovir (ACV) and ochratoxin (OTA).

Formalin-fixed and paraffin embedded mouse intestine labeled with Rabbit Anti OAT-3 Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-0609R) at 1:200 followed by conjugation to the secondary antibody and DAB staining


Mouse kidney lysates probed with OAT-3 Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-0609R) at 1:300 dilution and 4˚C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at 1:10000 for 60 min at 37˚C.
