Background:

Receptor for obesity factor (leptin). On ligand binding, mediates signaling through JAK2/STAT3. Involved in the regulation of fat metabolism and, in a hematopoietic pathway, required for normal lymphopoiesis. May play a role in reproduction. Can also mediate the ERK/FOS signaling pathway (By similarity).

Image kindly submitted by Jennifer DeMuro as part of the Free Sample Program. Mouse brain lysates probed with Rabbit Anti-Leptin receptor Polyclonal Antibody (bs-0961R).


K562 cells probed with Leptin receptor Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-0961R) at 3ug for 30 minutes followed by incubation with a conjugated secondary (PE Conjugated) (green) for 30 minutes compared to control cells (blue), secondary only (light blue) and isotype control (orange).


Paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin embedded mouse brain; Antigen retrieval by boiling in sodium citrate buffer (pH6) for 15min; Block endogenous peroxidase by 3% hydrogen peroxide for 30 minutes; Blocking buffer (normal goat serum) at 37°C for 20min; Antibody incubation with Leptin receptor Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-0961R) at 1:200 overnight at 4°C, followed by a conjugated secondary and DAB staining.


Lane 1: Mouse Liver; Probed with Leptin Receptor Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-0961R) at 1:1000 overnight at 4°C followed by a conjugated secondary antibody for 60 minutes at 37°C.


Lane 1: Rat Liver; Probed with Leptin Receptor Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-0961R) at 1:1000 overnight at 4°C followed by a conjugated secondary antibody for 60 minutes at 37°C.
