Background:

Probably plays a role in facilitating the assembly of multimeric protein complexes inside the endoplasmic reticulum. Involved in the correct folding of proteins and degradation of misfolded proteins via its interaction with DNAJC1, probably to facilitate the release of DNAJC1 from its substrate.

Paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin embedded Rat brain; Antigen retrieval by boiling in sodium citrate buffer (pH6.0) for 15min; Block endogenous peroxidase by 3% hydrogen peroxide for 20 minutes; Blocking buffer (normal goat serum) at 37°C for 30min; Antibody incubation with GRP78 Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-1219R) at 1:400 overnight at 4°C, DAB staining.


Mouse placenta probed with Rabbit Anti-GRP78 Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-1219R) at 1:300 overnight at 4˚C. Followed by conjugation to secondary antibody (bs-0295G-HRP) at 1:500 for 90 min at 37˚C.
