Background:

May act as a physical homophilic interaction molecule between intestinal epithelial cells (IECs) and intraepithelial lymphocytes (IELs) at the mucosal epithelium for providing immunological barrier as a first line of defense against mucosal infection. Plays a role in embryonic stem cells proliferation and differentiation. Up-regulates the expression of FABP5, MYC and cyclins A and E.

VALIDATION IMAGES

L1 rat heart, L2 rat brain lysates probed (bs-1513R) at 1:200 in 4˚C. Followed by conjugation to secondary antibody (bs-0295G-HRP) at 1:3000 90min in RT. Predicted and observed band size: 35kDa.


Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human rectal carcinoma labeled with Rabbit Anti-EpCAM Polyclonal Antibody (bs-1513R), Unconjugated 1:200 followed by conjugation to the secondary antibody and DAB staining


Mouse kidney Cells were fixed with 2% PFA (10min at room temperature). The cells were then incubated in 1 X PBS containing 0.5% BSA + 10% goat serum to block non-specific protein-protein interactions for 15 min at room temperature. Staining with EpCAM Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-1513R) was performed at 1:100 for 30 min on ice. The secondary antibody, Goat anti-rabbit IgG-PE, was used at a 1:200 dilution for 30 minutes on ice. Primary antibody staining (green) is compared to compared to unstained cells (dark blue), secondary only (light blue), and isotype control (orange).


Lane 1: A431 cell lysates; Lane 2: MCF-7 cell lysates probed with SIRT4 Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-1513R) at 1:1000 dilution and 4˚C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at 1:20000 for 60 min at 37˚C.


Lane 1: HepG2 lysates probed with EpCAM/CD326 Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-1513R) at 1:1000 dilution and 4˚C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at 1:20000 for 60 min at 37˚C.


Paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin embedded Human gastric carcinoma; Antigen retrieval by boiling in sodium citrate buffer (pH6.0) for 15min; Block endogenous peroxidase by 3% hydrogen peroxide for 20 minutes; Blocking buffer (normal goat serum) at 37°C for 30min; Antibody incubation with EpCAM/CD326 Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-1513R) at 1:400 overnight at 4°C, DAB staining.


Lane 1: Mouse Small intestine lysates; Lane 2: Mouse Large intestine lysates probed with EpCAM/CD326 Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-1513R) at 1:1000 dilution and 4˚C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at 1:20000 for 60 min at 37˚C.


Lane 1: Human A431 cell lysates; Lane 2: Human MCF-7 cell lysates; Lane 3: Human HepG2 cell lysates; Lane 4: Human K562 cell lysates probed with EpCAM/CD326 Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-1513R) at 1:1000 dilution and 4˚C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at 1:20000 for 60 min at 37˚C.


K562 cells were incubated in 5% BSA blocking buffer for 30 min at room temperature. Cells were then stained with EpCAM/CD326 Polyclonal Antibody(bs-1513R)at 1:100 dilution in blocking buffer and incubated for 30 min at room temperature, washed twice with 2%BSA in PBS, followed by secondary antibody incubation for 40 min at room temperature. Acquisitions of 20,000 events were performed. Cells stained with primary antibody (green), and isotype control (orange).


K562 cells were incubated in 5% BSA blocking buffer for 30 min at room temperature. Cells were then stained with EpCAM/CD326 Polyclonal Antibody(bs-1513R)at 1:50 dilution in blocking buffer and incubated for 30 min at room temperature, washed twice with 2%BSA in PBS, followed by secondary antibody incubation for 40 min at room temperature. Acquisitions of 20,000 events were performed. Cells stained with primary antibody (green), and isotype control (orange).
