Receptor for IL1A, IL1B and IL1RN. After binding to interleukin-1 associates with the corecptor IL1RAP to form the high affinity interleukin-1 receptor complex which mediates interleukin-1-dependent activation of NF-kappa-B, MAPK and other pathways. Signaling involves the recruitment of adapter molecules such as TOLLIP, MYD88, and IRAK1 or IRAK2 via the respective TIR domains of the receptor/coreceptor subunits. Binds ligands with comparable affinity and binding of antagonist IL1RN prevents association with IL1RAP to form a signaling complex.

L1 rat brain lysates L2 rat kidney lysates probed with Anti IL-1R1/CD121a/IL1 Receptor I Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-2594R) at 1:200 overnight at 4˚C. Followed by conjugation to secondary antibody (bs-0295G-HRP) at 1:3000 for 90 min at 37˚C. Predicted band 62kD. Observed band size:62kD.
MCF7 cells(black) were fixed with 70% ice-cold methanol overnight at 4℃,and incubated in 5% BSA blocking buffer for 30 min at room temperature. Cells were then stained with IL1 Receptor I Polyclonal Antibody(bs-2594R)at 1:50 dilution in blocking buffer and incubated for 30 min at room temperature, washed twice with 2% BSA in PBS, followed by secondary antibody(blue) incubation for 40 min at room temperature. Acquisitions of 20,000 events were performed. Cells stained with primary antibody (green), and isotype control (orange).
