Background:

Identifies cytotoxic/suppressor T-cells that interact with MHC class I bearing targets. CD8 is thought to play a role in the process of T-cell mediated killing. CD8 alpha chains binds to class I MHC molecules alpha-3 domains.

Formalin-fixed and paraffin embedded human lung carcinoma labeled with Anti-CD8 Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-4790R) at 1:200 followed by secondary antibody was Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG, Cy3 conjugated (bs-0295G-Cy3) used at 1:200


U251 cells probed with CD8 Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-4790R) for 30 minutes followed by incubation with a conjugated secondary (FITC Conjugated) (green) for 30 minutes compared to control cells (blue), secondary only (light blue) and isotype control (orange).


25 ug total protein per lane of various lysates (see on figure) probed with CD8 polyclonal antibody, unconjugated (bs-4790R) at 1:1000 dilution and 4°C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at r.t. for 60 min.
