Background:

Can stimulate E2F-dependent transcription. Binds DNA cooperatively with E2F family members through the E2 recognition site, 5'-TTTC[CG]CGC-3', found in the promoter region of a number of genes whose products are involved in cell cycle regulation or in DNA replication. The DP2/E2F complex functions in the control of cell-cycle progression from G1 to S phase. The E2F1/DP complex appears to mediate both cell proliferation and apoptosis.

Formalin-fixed and paraffin embedded human kidney labeled with Anti-DP1 Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-2986R) at 1:200 followed by conjugation to the secondary antibody and DAB staining


Kidney lysates probed with DP1 Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-5143R) at 1:1000 dilution and 4˚C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at 1:20000 for 60 min at 37˚C.


Lane 1: Mouse Testis tissue lysates; Lane 2: Rat Ovary tissue lysates; Lane 3: Human A431 cell lysates; Lane 4: Human Jurkat cell lysates probed with DP1 Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-5143R) at 1:1000 dilution and 4°C overnight incubation.
