Background:

Endocytic receptor involved in endocytosis and in phagocytosis of apoptotic cells. Required for early embryonic development. Involved in cellular lipid homeostasis. Involved in the plasma clearance of chylomicron remnants and activated LRPAP1 (alpha 2-macroglobulin), as well as the local metabolism of complexes between plasminogen activators and their endogenous inhibitors. May modulate cellular events, such as APP metabolism, kinase-dependent intracellular signaling, neuronal calcium signaling as well as neurotransmission. Functions as a receptor for Pseudomonas aeruginosa exotoxin A.

VALIDATION IMAGES

Formalin-fixed and paraffin embedded rat brain labeled with Rabbit Anti phospho-LRP1(Ser4523) Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-5409R) at 1:200 followed by conjugation to the secondary antibody and DAB staining


HepG2 cells were fixed with 4% PFA for 10min at room temperature,permeabilized with 90% ice-cold methanol for 20 min at -20℃, and incubated in 5% BSA blocking buffer for 30 min at room temperature. Cells were then stained with phospho-LRP1 (Ser4523) Polyclonal Antibody(bs-5409R)at 1:100 dilution in blocking buffer and incubated for 30 min at room temperature, washed twice with 2%BSA in PBS, followed by secondary antibody incubation for 40 min at room temperature. Acquisitions of 20,000 events were performed. Cells stained with primary antibody (green), and isotype control (orange).
