Background:

This gene encodes the alpha subunit of the mitochondrial trifunctional protein, which catalyzes the last three steps of mitochondrial beta-oxidation of long chain fatty acids. The mitochondrial membrane-bound heterocomplex is composed of four alpha and four beta subunits, with the alpha subunit catalyzing the 3-hydroxyacyl-CoA dehydrogenase and enoyl-CoA hydratase activities. Mutations in this gene result in trifunctional protein deficiency or LCHAD deficiency. The genes of the alpha and beta subunits of the mitochondrial trifunctional protein are located adjacent to each other in the human genome in a head-to-head orientation.

Lane 1: 293T cell lysates; Lane 2: HADHA knockout (KO) 293T cell lysates probed with HADHA Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-55092R) at 1:1000 dilution and 4˚C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at 1:20000 for 60 min at 37˚C.


Lane 1: K562 cell lysates; Lane 2: THP-1 cell lysates; Lane 3: SW480 cell lysates; Lane 4: PC-3 cell lysates; Lane 5: Hela cell lysates; Lane 6: Mouse Intestine lysates; Lane 7: Mouse Heart lysates; Lane 8: Mouse Fat lysates probed with HADHA Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-55092R) at 1:1000 dilution and 4˚C overnight incubation. U2-OS cell; 4% Paraformaldehyde-fixed; Triton X-100 at room temperature for 20 min; Blocking buffer (normal goat serum, C-0005) at 37°C for 20 min; Antibody incubation with (HADHA) polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-55092R) 1:100, 90 minutes at 37°C; followed by a conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG antibody at 37°C for 90 minutes, DAPI (blue, C02-04002) was used to stain the cell nuclei.
