Background:

This gene encodes an endoplasmic reticulum membrane oxidoreductase with an FAD-binding domain and a flavodoxin-like domain. The protein binds two cofactors, FAD and FMN, which allow it to donate electrons directly from NADPH to all microsomal P450 enzymes. Mutations in this gene have been associated with various diseases, including apparent combined P450C17 and P450C21 deficiency, amenorrhea and disordered steroidogenesis, congenital adrenal hyperplasia and Antley-Bixler syndrome.

VALIDATION IMAGES

Paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin embedded Human esophagus; Antigen retrieval by boiling in sodium citrate buffer (pH6.0) for 15min; Block endogenous peroxidase by 3% hydrogen peroxide for 20 minutes; Blocking buffer (normal goat serum) at 37°C for 30min; Antibody incubation with POR Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-55170R) at 1:100 overnight at 4°C, DAB staining.


Lane 1: Hela cell lysates; Lane 2: POR knockout (KO) HeLa cell lysates probed with POR Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-55170R) at 1:1000 dilution and 4˚C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at 1:20000 for 60 min at 37˚C.


Lane 1: A549 cell lysates; Lane 2: Hela cell lysates; Lane 3: MCF-7 cell lysates; Lane 4: 293T cell lysates; Lane 5: Mouse Liver lysates; Lane 6: Mouse Skin lysates; Lane 7: Mouse Kidney lysates; Lane 8: Rat Brain lysates probed with POR Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-55170R) at 1:1000 dilution and 4˚C overnight incubation.
