Background:

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the S100 family of proteins containing 2 EF-hand calcium-binding motifs. S100 proteins are localized in the cytoplasm and/or nucleus of a wide range of cells, and involved in the regulation of a number of cellular processes such as cell cycle progression and differentiation. S100 genes include at least 13 members which are located as a cluster on chromosome 1q21. This protein may function in motility, invasion, and tubulin polymerization. Chromosomal rearrangements and altered expression of this gene have been implicated in tumor metastasis.

VALIDATION IMAGES

Paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin embedded Human kidney; Antigen retrieval by boiling in sodium citrate buffer (pH6.0) for 15min; Block endogenous peroxidase by 3% hydrogen peroxide for 20 minutes; Blocking buffer (normal goat serum) at 37°C for 30min; Antibody incubation with S100A11 Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-55189R) at 1:100 overnight at 4°C, DAB staining.


Lane 1: BxPC-3 cell lysates; Lane 2: BT-474 cell lysates; Lane 3: Lovo cell lysates; Lane 4: 22Rv1 cell lysates; Lane 5: SKOV3 cell lysates; Lane 6: THP-1 cell lysates probed with S100A11 Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-55189R) at 1:1000 dilution and 4˚C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at 1:20000 for 60 min at 37˚C.


Lane 1: Hela cell lysates; Lane 2: S100A11 knockout (KO) HeLa cell lysates probed with S100A11 Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-55189R) at 1:1000 dilution and 4˚C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at 1:20000 for 60 min at 37˚C.


U2-OS cell; 4% Paraformaldehyde-fixed; Triton X-100 at room temperature for 20 min; Blocking buffer (normal goat serum, C-0005) at 37°C for 20 min; Antibody incubation with (S100A11) polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-55189R) 1:100, 90 minutes at 37°C; followed by a conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG antibody at 37°C for 90 minutes, DAPI (blue, C02-04002) was used to stain the cell nuclei.
