CU-CPT8m is a potent and selective antagonist of toll-like receptor 8 (TLR8) acting via stabilization of the TLR8 homodimer.1 It inhibits TNFα and IL-8 expression induced by the TLR8 agonist resiquimod at 1 mM and suppresses TLR8-mediated proinflammatory signaling in various cell lines, human primary cells and patient specimens. It reverses phenotypes involved in TLR8-activating fibroblasts.2 CU-CPT8m promotes erythroid cell proliferation and differentiation.3
