Background:
Ceruloplasmin is a blue, copper-binding (6-7 atoms per molecule) glycoprotein. It has ferroxidase activity oxidizing Fe(2+) to Fe(3+) without releasing radical oxygen species. It is involved in iron transport across the cell membrane. Provides Cu(2+) ions for the ascorbate-mediated deaminase degradation of the heparan sulfate chains of GPC1. May also play a role in fetal lung development or pulmonary antioxidant defense (By similarity).

Human Serum (1.0uL) probed with bsm-50216M Ceruloplasmin (3B11) Monoclonal Antibody at 1.0ug/mL (1:1000) and incubated at 4℃ overnight, followed by secondary antibody incubation for 60min at room temperature.
Immunoprecipitation of Ceruloplasmin from human serum using Ceruloplasmin (3B11) Monoclonal Antibody (bsm-50216M). Lane 1 : Human Serum (0.5uL); Lane 2 : Precipitated from 1ul of Human Serum using 2ug of antibody; Lane 3 : Precipitated from 1ul of Human Serum using 5ug of antibody; Lane 4 : Precipitated from PBS using 5ug of antibody. WB analysis was performed using bsm-50216M at 2.0ug/mL (1:500) and incubated at 4℃ overnight, followed by secondary antibody incubation for 60min at room temperature.
