DATASHEET

Host: Mouse

Target Protein: FASN

Clonality: Monoclonal

Isotype: IgM

Entrez Gene: 2194

Swiss Prot: P49327

Source: This FASN antibody is generated from mice immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 942-973 amino acids from the Central region of human FASN.

Purification: Purified monoclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is prepared by Euglobin precipitation followed by dialysis against PBS.

Storage Buffer: 0.01M TBS(pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol.

Storage: Store at 4°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage, store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.

Background:

Fatty acid synthetase catalyzes the formation of long-chain fatty acids from acetyl-CoA, malonyl-CoA and NADPH. This multifunctional protein has 7 catalytic activities and an acyl carrier protein.

Size: 100ul
