Background:
Potent proinflammatory cytokine. Initially discovered as the major endogenous pyrogen, induces prostaglandin synthesis, neutrophil influx and activation, T-cell activation and cytokine production, B-cell activation and antibody production, and fibroblast proliferation and collagen production. Promotes Th17 differentiation of T-cells.
VALIDATION IMAGES
RAW 264.7 (M) cells were treated with or without LPS (100ng/ml) for 6 h, A added (300ng/ml) for 3 h, 25 μg total protein per lane of cell lysates (see on figure) probed with IL1B | IL-1 beta monoclonal antibody, unconjugated (bsm-51186M) at 1:300 dilution and 4°C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at r.t. for 60 min.
THP-1 (H) cells were treated with or without TPA (80nM) for 24 h, LPS (100ng/ml) for 6 h, Brefeldin A (300ng/ml) for 3 h, 25 μg total protein per lane of cell lysates (see on figure) probed with IL1B | IL-1 beta monoclonal antibody, unconjugated (bsm-51186M) at 1:300 dilution and 4°C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at r.t. for 60 min.
