DATASHEET

Host: Mouse

Target Protein: BID

Clonality: Monoclonal

Isotype: IgG1

Entrez Gene: 637

Swiss Prot: P55957

Source: This BID antibody is generated from a mouse immunized with a recombinant protein of human BID.

Purification: Purified by Protein G.

Storage Buffer: 0.01M TBS(pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol.

Storage: Store at -20°C for 12 months.

Background:

The major proteolytic product p15 BID allows the release of cytochrome c (By similarity). Isoform 1, isoform 2 and isoform 4 induce ICE-like proteases and apoptosis. Isoform 3 does not induce apoptosis. Counters the protective effect of Bcl-2.

Size: 100ul

Concentration: 0.5ug/ul

Predicted Molecular Weight: 22

Cross Reactive Species: Human
