Purification:
Purified monoclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein G column, followed by dialysis against PBS.
Storage Buffer:
0.01M TBS(pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol.

Background:
The proteasome is a multicatalytic proteinase complex which is characterized by its ability to cleave peptides with Arg, Phe, Tyr, Leu, and Glu adjacent to the leaving group at neutral or slightly basic pH. The proteasome has an ATP-dependent proteolytic activity.
VALIDATION IMAGES
Lane 1: Human Liver Lysates; Lane 2: MCF-7 Cell Lysates; Lane 3: HepG2 Cell Lysates; Lane 4: HeLa Cell Lysates; Lane 5: PC-12 Cell Lysates; probed with PSMA5 (426CT8.5.1) Monoclonal Antibody, unconjugated (bsm-51389M) at 1:1000 overnight at 4°C followed by a conjugated secondary antibody for 60 minutes at 37°C.
Paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin embedded human testis tissue; Antigen retrieval by boiling in sodium citrate buffer (pH6.0) for 15min; Block endogenous peroxidase by 3% hydrogen peroxide for 15 minutes; Blocking buffer (3% BSA) at room temperature for 30min; Antibody incubation with PSMA5 (426CT8.5.1) Monoclonal Antibody (bsm-51389M) at 1:25 for 1 hour at 37°C, followed by a conjugated secondary antibody for 20 minutes and DAB staining.
