Background:

Functions as a chaperone protein. Is one of the most abundant endoplasmic reticulum (ER) proteins. Plays a role in the export of secreted proteins in the ER, the recognition of abnormally folded protein and their targeting to the ER associated-degradation (ERAD). Also serves as a cargo receptor for the export of transmembrane proteins. May be involved in CASP8-mediated apoptosis.

Size: 100ul

Concentration: 0.5ug/ul

VALIDATION IMAGES

Paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin embedded human brain tissue; Antigen retrieval by boiling in sodium citrate buffer (pH6.0) for 15min; Block endogenous peroxidase by 3% hydrogen peroxide for 15 minutes; Blocking buffer (3% BSA) at room temperature for 30min; Antibody incubation with BAP31 (2C6) Monoclonal Antibody (bsm-51442M) at 1:25 for 1 hour at 37°C, followed by a conjugated secondary antibody for 20 minutes and DAB staining.

Lane 1: A431 Cell lysates; Lane 2: NCCIT Cell lysates; probed with BAP31 (2C6) Monoclonal Antibody, unconjugated (bsm-51442M) at 1:2000 overnight at 4°C followed by a conjugated secondary antibody for 60 minutes at 37°C.
