Background:

May be involved in tissue injury and remodeling. Has significant elastolytic activity. Can accept large and small amino acids at the P1' site, but has a preference for leucine. Aromatic or hydrophobic residues are preferred at the P1 site, with small hydrophobic residues (preferably alanine) occupying P3.

VALIDATION IMAGES

Lane 1: A549; Lane 2: Hela; Lane 3: MCF-7; Lane 4: THP-1 lysate probed with MMP12 (1A4) Monoclonal Antibody (bsm-52292R) at 1:1000 overnight at 4°C followed by a conjugated secondary antibody for 60 minutes at 37°C.


Flow cytometric analysis of A549 cells with MMP12 (1A4) Monoclonal Antibody (bsm-52292R) at a 1:50 dilution (red) compared with an unlabeled control (cells without incubation with primary antibody; blue).


Paraformaldehyde-fixed and paraffin-embedded Human breast carcinoma tissue incubated with MMP12 (1A4) Monoclonal Antibody (bsm-52292R) at 1:100, overnight at 4°C, followed by a conjugated secondary antibody and DAB staining. Counterstained with hematoxylin.

Flow cytometric analysis of MMP12 was done on A549 cells. The cells were fixed, permeabilized and stained with the primary antibody (bsm-52292R, 1/50) (blue). After incubation of the primary antibody at room temperature for an hour, the cells were stained with a Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Secondary antibody at 1/1000 dilution for 30 minutes.Unlabelled sample was used as a control (cells without incubation with primary antibody; red).
