Background:

Receptor-proximal protein kinase regulating integrin-mediated signal transduction. May act as a mediator of inside-out integrin signaling. Focal adhesion protein part of the complex ILK-PINCH. This complex is considered to be one of the convergence points of integrin- and growth factor-signaling pathway. Could be implicated in mediating cell architecture, adhesion to integrin substrates and anchorage-dependent growth in epithelial cells. Phosphorylates beta-1 and beta-3 integrin subunit on serine and threonine residues, but also AKT1 and GSK3B.

VALIDATION IMAGES

Flow cytometric analysis of Jurkat cells with Integrin linked ILK (3G2) Monoclonal Antibody (bsm-52546R) at 1:50 dilution (red) compared with an unlabeled control (cells without incubation with primary antibody; black).


Lane 1: Hela Cells; Lane 2: 293T Cells; Probed with Integrin linked ILK (3G2) Monoclonal Antibody (bsm-52546R) at 1:1000 overnight at 4°C followed by a conjugated secondary antibody for 60 minutes at 37°C.


IF(ICC) staining with Integrin linked ILK (3G2) Monoclonal Antibody (bsm-52546R) at 1:100 in NIH/3T3 cells (green). The nuclear counterstain is DAPI (blue). Cells were fixed in paraformaldehyde, permeabilized with 0.25% Triton X100/PBS.

Paraformaldehyde-fixed and paraffin-embedded Rat brain tissue incubated with Integrin linked ILK (3G2) Monoclonal Antibody (bsm-52546R) at 1:100, overnight at 4°C, followed by a conjugated secondary antibody and DAB staining. Counterstained with hematoxylin.
