Background:

Two forms have been identified in animal cells, one in cytosol and one in mitochondria. Activity of the cytosolic enzyme is high in proliferating cells and peaks during the S-phase of the cell cycle; it is very low in resting cells.

VALIDATION IMAGES

Paraformaldehyde-fixed and paraffin-embedded Human tonsil tissue incubated with Thymidine Kinase 1 (9C1) Monoclonal Antibody (bsm-52813R) at 1:100, overnight at 4°C, followed by a conjugated secondary antibody and DAB staining. Counterstained with hematoxylin.


25 ug total protein per lane of various lysates (see on figure) probed with Thymidine kinase 1 monoclonal antibody, unconjugated (bsm-52813R) at 1:1000 dilution and 4°C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at r.t. for 60 min.
