Background:

Renin is a highly specific endopeptidase, whose only known function is to generate angiotensin I from angiotensinogen in the plasma, initiating a cascade of reactions that produce an elevation of blood pressure and increased sodium retention by the kidney.

VALIDATION IMAGES

25 ug total protein per lane of various lysates (see on figure) probed with Renin monoclonal antibody, unconjugated (bsm-62272R) at 1:1000 dilution and 4°C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at r.t. for 60 min.
