Background:

Component of the cleavage and polyadenylation specificity factor (CPSF) complex that plays a key role in pre-mRNA 3'-end formation, recognizing the AAUAAA signal sequence and interacting with poly(A) polymerase and other factors to bring about cleavage and poly(A) addition. Has endonuclease activity, and functions as an mRNA 3'-end-processing endonuclease.

VALIDATION IMAGES

25 ug total protein per lane of various lysates (see on figure) probed with CPSF73 monoclonal antibody, unconjugated (bsm-62500R) at 1:1000 dilution and 4°C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at r.t. for 60 min.
