Background:

RNA-binding factor that recruits target transcripts to cytoplasmic protein-RNA complexes (mRNPs). This transcript 'caging' into mRNPs allows mRNA transport and transient storage. It also modulates the rate and location at which target transcripts encounter the translational apparatus and shields them from endonuclease attacks or microRNA-mediated degradation.Preferentially binds to N6-methyladenosine (m6A)-containing mRNAs and increases their stability.

VALIDATION IMAGES

25 ug total protein per lane of various lysates (see on figure) probed with IGF2BP2 monoclonal antibody, unconjugated (bsm-62659R) at 1:2000 dilution and 4°C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at r.t. for 60 min.


Paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin embedded Mouse Colon; Antigen retrieval by boiling in sodium citrate buffer (pH6.0) for 15 min; Antibody incubation with IGF2BP2 Monoclonal Antibody, Unconjugated(bsm-62659R) at 1:100 overnight at 4°C, followed by conjugation to the bs-0295G-HRP and DAB (C-0010) staining.
