Background:

Acts as a negative mediator of apoptosis and may play a role in tumor progression. Suppresses the TNF-mediated apoptosis by inhibiting caspase-8 activity but not the processing of procaspase-8, subsequently resulting in inhibition of BID cleavage and caspase-3 activation.

VALIDATION IMAGES

25 ug total protein per lane of various lysates (see on figure) probed with TNFAIP8 monoclonal antibody, unconjugated (bsm-62731R) at 1:1000 dilution and 4°C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at r.t. for 60 min.
