Background:

Serine/threonine-protein kinase that converts transient diacylglycerol (DAG) signals into prolonged physiological effects downstream of PKC, and is involved in the regulation of cell proliferation via MAPK1/3 (ERK1/2) signaling, oxidative stress-induced NF-kappa-B activation, inhibition of HDAC7 transcriptional repression, signaling downstream of T-cell antigen receptor (TCR) and cytokine production, and plays a role in Golgi membrane trafficking, angiogenesis, secretory granule release and cell adhesion.

VALIDATION IMAGES

293T (H) cells were treated with or without Calyculin A (100nM) for 60 min, 25 μg total protein per lane of cell lysates (see on figure) probed with phospho-PKD2 (Ser876) monoclonal antibody, unconjugated (bsm-62960R) at 1:1000 dilution and 4°C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at r.t. for 60 min.
